Complete in two volumes.A lovely collection of colour plates highlighting colour theory and definitions to standardise colours and hues for textiles industries. The British Colour Council was established in 1931 for this purpose.Includes an erratum to Volume II disclaiming the transposition of plates 1 and 64. Replacements were issued and the error has been corrected.Both volumes include a seven page introductory text. Volume II includes an inserted isolating view key.All the plates have been collated and are complete. Unbound as issued. In the original publisher's cloth portfolios with cloth slipcases. Externally, smart. The slipcases are very good. There is some light wear to the extremities of the slipcases. There is a small mark to the cloth portfolio of Volume I. Internally, unbound as issued. The pages are bright and clean with some light spotting and edgewear. Very Good. book.
