Evelyn Cheesman was an British entomologist and traveller who collected over 70000 specimens in the South Pacific which she accompanied with sketches and notes. These specimens now form part of the collection of the Natural History Museum in London, and Cheesman was awarded an OBE for her services to science. Condition: In a green cloth binding. Externally, smart with fading to the spine. Wear to the head and tail of the spine and light wear to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright with light spotting throughout.
