Dust Jacket Condition: VG. 1st edition, stated. 8vo, orig. dec. cloth-covered bds, brown title on spine, mild bumping top spine end without loss, trace dusting top edge text bloc, else clean, bright, tight and unworn; map eps, dec. tp, SIGNED and inscribed by author on reverse of ffep and dated 1959; 66 illus, photographs and maps; pp.(7),214 incl. index; unclipped illus dj, sl. spine fade, light chipping (largest is shallow chip top back panel), sl. rubbing at creases, else clean and intact in archival cover. The author fought with Geronimo's Apache band during his teen years. This volume was published when he was 99 years old and still in possession of all his senses. He died the following year.
