Item Description: Giunti,, Venezia, 1598. Due tomi in folio (430x280). Carte num. 202; 188 testo su due colonne, nota di possesso al frontespizio. Frontespizi in rosso e nero con grande vignetta silografica con la marca editoriale (il giglio dei Giunta) sempre in rosso e nero. Solida pergamena rigida coeva, dorso con cinque nervi. Buona edizione. Giasone del Maino (1435-1519), massimo esponente nella dottrina del commento giuridico, si ispira concettualmente alle opere dei giureconsulti tardo medievali. I suoi commenti al Codice ed al Digesto, sono unanimemente considerati la massima espressione del suo talento per chiarezza di sintesi nel commento giuridico. Tomo I: Buon esemplare con qualche traccia di tarlo sporadica che non lede il testo. Ben conservato con mancanza alla cuffia inf. e cerniera sup. un po' difettosa. Lieve tracce di sporco superficiale al frontesp. Aloni. Tomo II: in modeste condizioni. Mancanze al dorso, al piatto ant. e allo spigolo, cerniere difettose.
