A reduced size reprint of the folio Moxon edition. 31 tissue guarded photogravure plates reproducing the Dore illustrations. Soundly bound in original blue cloth with decorative binding in gilt from a design by Margaret Armstrong. Top edge gilt; other edges untrimmed. Cloth lightly pulled and stressed at spine ends; corners lightly bruised with mild fray; boards peeking through. Binding slightly cocked in the spine; gilt at spine a little dulled and rubbed. Though soundly bound the binding cords are visible at several junctures between signatures. All lettered tissue guards intact.
