Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. 301pp with 36 photos b/w and colour. Unclipped DJ in protective cover. Burnt orange boards with gilt lettering to the pine. The experts said it was impossible with no other westerner succeeding in to crossing the Sahara from west to east by camel. Michael Asher and Mariantonietta Peru proved them wrong over their 4,500 mile journey. A superb story and excellent copy.
