Item Description: Limited Editions Club, 1987. Soft cover. Book Condition: Fine. No Jacket. Limited Edition. This is number 467 of a printing limited to 800 copies, published by the Limited Editions Club, 1987, of Willa and Edwin Muir's translation from German to English, illustrated with four Michael Hafftka lithographs, and signed by Hafftka on the limitation page. This is in its original grey linen clamshell box, with attached author label, felt-lined on the inside. This has a bump to one spot on its lower edge, but is otherwise in fine condition, as is the book, which was hand sewn and hand bound by Carol Joyce, with all text printed on mould-made Magnani paper, and with the lithographs printed on hand-made Japanese paper. All the text and art are in perfect condition. All tissue guards are in place, and with no stains or tears (though with a few edge creases). There are no stamps or other attachments. There is no writing, other than the copy number and artist's signature. The binding is tight, with no loose or missing pages. There are no page tears, and no stains or scuffs. This has, loosely enclosed, the one page printed publisher's sheet detailing the particulars of this edition. This is an exceptional printing in excellent condition.
