About this Item: Chroma Press. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. VG example of this poets' press title from Chroma Press. The poem consists of 35 Venus and Adonis stanzas and takes for its subject the titular primeval forest envisioned by the 17th century philosopher Giambattista Vico. Hand-bound in forest green clothwrapped boards, with letterpress plate affixed to spine. Cloth demonstrates staining. Number 29 in an edition of 100, signed by author.
