About this Item: Praeger Publishers, New York, 1969. Hardcover. Condition: G+/G+. First Edition Thus. Introduction by Seoirse Bodley. "This reprint is a photolithographic facsimile of the first edition and is unabridged." (with the addition of the introduction). Illustrated with black-and-white and color photographs, drawings and engravings. Some of the illustrations are folding plates. The dust jacket is protected by a Brodart mylar cover. Not an ex-library copy. No remainder marks. Most books shipped within 24 hours. All books mailed with Delivery Confirmation. Please note this book was unfortunately attacked at the base of the spine by a dog (? ) which has chewed the bottom 1" of the spine panel (worse at the bottom and getting less severe as one goes up). With a little damage on the bottom edge of the front cover. There is a small area (1/2") of damage in the gutter between the front cover and the front fly-leaf. Otherwise the contents are fine condition. The dust jacket has a corresponding piece (2 x 2 5/8") missing at the bottom of the spine panel as well as a piece lacking from the rear cover (1/4 x 1") and another piece at the top edge of the front cover. (1/8 x 1/2"). And, of course, with all this good news the jacket has also been price-clipped. Good + condition in good + dust jacket. Please note this book weighs more than 4 pounds and is oversized - consequently shipping will be extra. (To Britain approximately $ 45.00) ; Black-and-white illustrations and music; 4to 11" - 13" tall; viii, 199 pages. Seller Inventory # 35299

About this Item: Edinburgh: Constable, 1904, Edinburgh, 1904. Pubs Dec Cloth. Condition: Very Good Internally. Dust Jacket Condition: N/a. Pubs Dec Cloth. Very Good Internally/N/a. Folio. A rare opportunity to buy the complete set of this very important work, each volume of which was issued in 180 copies only. The Harp volume is No. 5 in the run, and the volume covering English and Irish instruments, which was published in 1908, is No. 134. Vol.1 is inscribed by the Author in the year of publication on the blank prelim. The set is ex-public library, and has stamps etc to prove it. I have had both volumes recased, as there was heavy splitting of the joints of Vol.1, and the hinges of Vol.2 needed repair. The original endpapers have been retained. Each volume is bumped and worn on the corners, Vol.1 is heavily rubbed on the joints, and both volumes are creased at the head and foot of the spine. There are a few internal light stains. An excellent working set of this virtually unobtainable work. Seller Inventory # 18212
