The pre-war annuals of this institution were lavishly produced with little constraint and are a good documentation of the era. This was the last annual to appear until 1919. Decorative initials and tailpieces. Bound volumes containing six years of the most important Hungarian decorative arts periodical ever published. Profusely illustrated throughout with b/w photographic reproductions depicting a wide range of decorative and graphic arts (many in Jugendstill / Art Nouveau). Includes b/w and color drawings of theatre decor and characters by Léon Bakst, Edward Gordon Graig and Ernst Stern; Interior designs by Baillie Scott, Lajos Kozma, József Vágó and Albin Müller; Examples of architectural work by Ignác Alpár; Paintings by Mathurin Méheut; Woodcuts by Ferenc Helbing; Stained glass windows by Douglas Strachan, Sándor Nagy and Mariska Undi; Examples of poster designs by Árpád Ékes; Sculptures by Eduard Telcs, Ödön Moiret, etc. Each volume contains several plates in color.
