Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st ed. xviii, 283pp. Illus. Ex lib. with the usual labels, stamps etc though not as mutilated as many from libraries. A much sought after shipping company history because of its association with the White Star Line and also Joseph Bruce Ismay's infamous trip on the "Titanic" when he was saved in the last lifeboat. The subsequent witch-hunt & inquiry are well covered in the book. Certainly, at least a very decent reading copy in a rubbed & chipped but complete dw. There is noticeable rubbing to the spine where a library label has been removed.
