Biography with 100-page, 493-item catalogue of the Tassies' works. Brown cloth boards, somewhat soiled/worn; bumped at head and tail of spine and right-hand edge of top board. Spine label faded, fraying at edges. Endpapers discoloured, edges of page block a little grubby; text unaffected. Two or three pages in catalogue folded over/dog-eared. Croal Thomson, editor of the Art Journal, signed by him on fep, with 4pp MS letter from Gray to Croal Thomson thanking him for his note, sending him some printing blocks, and asking him if he would be interested in publishing an article about the etchings of Lumsden Propert which Gray has seen in the course of his research.
