The Last Days of District Six Photographs by Jan Greshoff (ISBN 0-620-20622-5) is the catalog for an exhibition about the removal of 60,000 non-whites from District Six of Cape Town in the mid 1960's as part of the government's Apartheid agenda. Text by Colette Thorne, Sandra Proselandsis, Jan Greshoff, Lucien Le Grange, Hans Fransen, Roderick Sauls. Greshoff was an architecture professor who took hundreds of photographs in the 50's and 60's in District Six. 28 pages, paper with stiff cover. 10 7/8" x 8 1/4". Black and white reproductions. Very good condition.
