Item Description: Rather Press, Oakland, CA, 1975. Hardcover. Book Condition: Near fine. Oakland, CA: Rather Press, [1975]. (26) pp. 2 3/4 x 2 1/8". LIMITED EDITION of 150 copies, this being #73. Blue cloth over boards, slight glue stain to gutter near title page, bookstore label on rear paste-down endpaper, in near fine condition. (Bradbury, Rather Press, 2)Owned by Clif and Lois Rather, Rather Press primarily printed larger books. When Glen Dawson suggested they do a miniature book, the challenge was on. But Clif and Lois struggled a bit with the miniature format, trying different papers and cloths. As you can see from this copy, it is not perfectly done. This little book is very sweet though, as they took a small selection from one of their larger books "Thanks Jane, Jane Bissell Grabhorn, 1911-1973". It's a lovely story about their friend Jane, who helped them out greatly in the printing business. Bookseller Inventory # BL-001608
