Item Description: Welsh Outlook Press, 1918. Disbound. Book Condition: Fair. First Edition. Published from 1914 to 1933, The Welsh Outlook was intended to promote a view of Cultural Nationalism and social progress within Wales, as reflected in the topics in each monthly part. The magazine is considered to have been important in the development of Welsh Nationalism, and Wales as a Nation separate from the rest of Britain, most especially so from England through the Welsh language. The print runs were tiny, even by the standards of the day, perhaps only 2000 an issue in the early days, rather less later, and are consequently tricky to find. Note; this is an original monthly part separated from the annual volume, and does not have the original wrappers. Contains; The Great International by Ernest Rhys; Our Duty to Serbia: A claim on Wales; Wanted - A Programme by David Davies; Fiction of Wales by Adrian Wilson; Welsh Radicalism; Wales: Its Politics and Economics: Industrial Resources and Development by Edward T. John; Welsh Nonconformists and The Future by Gwilym Davies; Margaret Ty Coch by H.M.V; The Voluntary Education Councils Movement by Alfred Perceval Graves; Wales and The Child by G. Arbour Stephens; Wales and Modern Language Teaching. Size: Quarto. 30 pages. Quantity Available: 1. Category: Welsh Outlook; Inventory No: 224125. Bookseller Inventory # 224125

Item Description: GRIN Verlag, Germany, 2012. Paperback. Book Condition: New. 1. Auflage.. Language: German . By George Anson . Compiled from papers and other materials of the Right Honourable George, Lord Anson, and published under his direction, by Richard Walter. Item Description: W. Simpkin and R. Marshall, London, 1834. Hardcover. Book Condition: Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket. Presumed 2nd Edition. In the original Publishers dark russian green blind stamped/decorated cloth with quite bright gilt titling to the spine, which has 5 stamped 'bands' in imitation of a leather binding. The edges of the boards are faded/discoloured running about 1" /1 1/2" into the boards. The head/tail of the spine is 'bumped' & slightly chipped/split. All 4 corners are 'turned/bumped', but the hinges are tight and the covers are complete and sound - now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks near VG. There is a small 1/2 inch tear with loss to the same page. The page fore-edges are a little 'toned'/dust engrained, and the first third of the book has the retained 'impression' of something oval that had obviously been in the book a long time.
