An owner's name is on the front pastedown. DJ: The publisher's $2.50 is on the front flap. There is no mention or label about a Newbery award. Large chips on the top ends of the spine and back panel, and on the fold between them, appear to be from damage by an insect. That fold also has color loss from shelf wear rubbing. Two large chips and two small chips in other places seem to be from reader's handling. Scans e-mailed upon request.
