Binding has minor wear, and is solid, square, tight. 12 color plates including the frontispiece. Inscription on the front paste down from "Daddy" dated Jan. 13, 1938. Additional owner's name stamped on five pages throughout the book. A fairly clean copy. The scarce American edition in pretty good condition.

Quarto, with 12 wonderful color photo plates of real dolls posed in the various activities described in the text.
