FIRST EDITION, frontispiece photograph from play's first run, plan of Jo Mielziner's mise en scène at rear, pp. 167, [1], crown 8vo, original mid blue cloth, backstrip lettered in silver, trivial rubbing to extremities, dustjacket with a touch of waterstaining around foot of backstrip panel, very good. Inscribed by the author on the flyleaf, 'For Michel, More than a co-worker a friend. From his, Norman Krasna, December 12, '55'. The substance of the inscription makes it likely that the recipient was the French cinematographer Michel Kelber, with whom Krasna worked on the film 'The Ambassador's Daughter' (released in 1956). The present play was filmed in 1958, as 'Indiscreet'.
