Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Novel. First Edition - First Printing/ Impression. 445pp. Dark green cloth covered boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards are firm and clean with minimal nudge to only one corner and a slight bump to the head of spine. There is a faint inscription to the top of the ffep, plus slight indentation where a pencilled earlier price has been erased. The binding is tight and solid - the pages are clean with only a very slight hint of browning. The dust-jacket (protected in a removable, transparent sleeve) is not price clipped. There is some chipping to the top and base of spine and a little rubbing to the leading edge corners of the front face. The top edge is browned along its length and the rear face is browned, especially to the vertical edges, but also generally across the back, presenting a rather soiled appearance. Other than the inscription mentioned above, that are no other internal or external markings.
