Gilt edged text block. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Cracking to hinges, with exposed netting. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Ex Libris plate to front pastedown. Plates slightly foxed. Faint white staining to pastedowns. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Damp staining to front board bottom edge with small area of loss. Splitting of cloth at front spine joint. Gilt lettering is darkened at spine. Mild crushing to spine ends. Moderate tanning to spine. Minor fraying to cloth at spine ends.
