Binding tight and solid. This book collects the poems that Octavio Paz wrote during the six years 1962 to 1968 that he lived in India. The book is divided into three sections: Ladera Este (East Hillside) , which contains fifty poems; Hacia el Comienzo (To the beginning) , composed of fifteen poems, and Blanco (White) , a long poem first appeared independently in 1967. Octavio Paz Lozano ( March 31, 1914 – April 19, 1998) was a Mexican poet-diplomat and writer.
