Free from inscriptions and erasures. The WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good++ or better condition. Very light edge-wear with just a little toning to the spine and flap edges. A thin black line to the middle of the rear spine fold. The Peter Davis wrapper artwork looks striking in the removable Brodart archival cover. One of the all-time best selling children s fantasy novels, selling over five million copies worldwide as well as being translated into 20 different languages. The author said that he was inspired by his upbringing reading a staple amount of mythology and fantasy novels. The Dorothy Lanthrop novel 'The Call from Moon Mountain' particularly influenced him.
