The contents are stapled between light tan cover sheets with a black-and-white portrait of Issay Dobrowen on the front cover. The cover sheets are slightly bumped with a small light stain to the front cover and some very light staining & a tiny tear to the rear cover. Illustrated with 2 photographic portraits of Issay Dobrowen. Very good. Among the contents of this issue are an obituary of Russian-born conductor Issay Dobrowen, a biographical sketch, a discography by Robert Kurtzberg and an appreciation by Joan Ingpen. There is also a six-page conversation with Sir Thomas Beecham by Lord Robert Boothby.

There are also two articles on Beecham: "Sir Thomas in San Francisco" by John R. Douglas and "A Musical Lesson: A New Look at the Greatness of Sir Thomas" by Kenneth DeKay.
