This text along with others from GRAV, was translated in the Winter/Spring 1966 issue of 'IMAGE' (ed. by Philip Steadman): 'Affirms: 1. That young painters from many countries have new preoccupations, other than those which can be seen at the Biennale. 2. That the notion of the uniquely inspired artist is an anachronism.' and the group continues: 'Proposes: The complete elimination of the intrinsic values of stable and recognisable forms whether they be: Form idealising nature (classical art) / Form representing nature (naturalistic art) / Form synthesising nature (cubist art) / Geometric form (abstract, constructivist art).
