With an undated note signed "Liz" found in the book, addressed to Mr. Sammis, who was sailing on the S.S. France. She refers to him as "a fellow adapter." Book is in Near Fine Condition: ends of spine slightly rubbed; otherwise, clean and bright. Dust jacket is in Good Condition: lacking small piece at head of spine; 2 small scrapes; 1-cm. closed tear at upper edge of front section and back section; price-clipped; slightly soiled.
