Book First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Published by Le Caire Imprimie De L'institut Francais D'archeologie Orientale in 1968, this is the first softback printing of Serge Sauneron's LE TEMPLE D'ESNA (ESNA III). 394 pages, illustrations, hieroglyphics, fold out plans, beige card covers, French text, the book is in good condition with a little light watery staining to the card. There is also gentle rubbing and creasing at the top and the base of the spine, a small tear approx 10mm is present at the top. Internally the book is excellent with light browning throughout, some moderate spotty foxing to the page edges and a few pencil annotations left in the margins by the famous Egyptologist and reviewer Dr John Gwyn Griffiths. Make no mistake this is a rare book and it is very heavy so due to the grotesque corporate carrier increases of the last 2 years extra postage must be applied to areas outside the UK as follows: Europe £10, Rest of the World £20.
