#651 of leatherbound collector's edition, with gilt page edges. Boards show only a touch of shelfwear, with prior owner name stamped on front cover in gold. Autographed by Xavier Roberts on tissue half-title page and dated 84. An omnibus work with pretty much everything one might want to know about the Cabbage Patch Kids, published only two years after Coleco began selling Roberts' dolls, in a year when people bought 20 million (!!) of them. Laid in is an original foldout order brochure and a form congratulating the book's owner: 'Each copy of this book is numbered and shall be registered at Babyland General Hospital.' 3.7 pounds. 9-1/8 x 12-1/8". 256 pages.
