Modernisticka obrada legende o Amisu i Amilu, kojom Livadic, koristeci razne izvore, ''srednjovjekovni size o cudu, boli, prijateljstvu i zrtvovanju, pretvara u dramu ljudskih dusa, ocrtavajuci u bitnome i svoj vlastiti filozofski i estetski habitus. Oprema Livadiceve knjige jedinstvena je u povijesti hrvatskoga nakladnistva: otisnuta je u dvobojnome, crveno-crnom tisku, s inicijalima i drvorezima Miroslava Kraljevica i Ljube Babica verzalnim slogom. One of the most beautiful Croatian books from the turn of the the 20th century. Editor: Julije Benesic. Modernistic rendition of Amis and Amile, which Livadic, by using various sources, ''medieval story of miracle, pain, friendship and sacrifice, turns into a drama of human souls, depicting in essence his own philosophical and esthetical habitus.
