Item Description: New York: Harry N. Abrams, (1963)., 1963. First U.S. edition. Full white cloth binding, decorated with Picasso designs. 36 pages of text with black-and-white illustrations; about 130 unpaginated pages of reproductions of 139 black-and-white drawings and color drawings, and 26 oil paintings. 14.9 x 10.8 in. 5 lbs, 14 oz. with slipcase. Slipcase is illustrated paper over green cloth over cardboard. Very Good Plus with some browned spots on covers; areas if combined would cover about the size of 2 US pennies. Stitching of pages is somewhat loose but holding; gives an effect between a book and a portfolio; this is not uncommon with this book. Slipcase is slightly edgeworn with spine paper lacking on bottom 1/3 inch of spine. Plates were printed in France so the high quality of the reproductions is probably equivalent to the original Paris edition by Editions Cercle d’Art. Bookseller Inventory # INV4996

Item Description: Cercle d'Art. Couverture rigide. Book Condition: Très bon. Edition originale. Paris 1962. 1 Volume/1. "" ****************. Bookseller Inventory # fav-05-11
