Admiral Sir R. H. Bacon [Admiral Sir Reginald Hugh Spencer Bacon KCB, KCVO, DSO (6 September 1863 - 9 June 1947) was an officer in the Royal Navy noted for his technical abilities. He was described by the First Sea Lord, Admiral Sir Jacky Fisher, as the man "acknowledged to be the cleverest officer in the Navy"]. Admiral of the Fleet John Arbuthnot "Jacky" (or "Jackie") Fisher, 1st Baron Fisher, GCB, OM, GCVO (25 January 1841 - 10 July 1920) was a British admiral known for his efforts at naval reform.
