Will it mean the surrender of academic research ? A scarce book. We do not use stock photos, the picture displayed is of the actual book for sale. First Edition Signed
Original Cloth. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. Signed by Nigel Allington on the front free endpaper with a dedication to Anthony Edwards, Life Fellow of Gonville & Caius College and retired Professor of Biometry at the University of Cambridge. This book was part of his collection of books which was a reflection of his keen and active interest in the governance of the Collegiate University. The text block is detached from the boards at the front because the front free endpaper has not been glued adequately to the boards - this could be repaired fairly easily by someone with a pot of the correct glue however and the book is not actually damaged in any way. The boards and the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has quite heavy fading to the spine and along the edges of the front and rear panels next to the spine and the bottom edge of the front panel but is otherwise unmarked. First printing. Signed by Author(s).
