About this Item: Ticknor and Fields, Boston, Massachusetts, 1861. Original Wraps. Condition: Very Good. First printing. Single issue. Small quarto, 10" tall, pages 257 to 384 + 4 ads, beige printed wraps. A very good, soft cover periodical with light exterior soiling but some chipping to the spine cover; internally near fine, binding solid, paper clean and lightly yellowed (pre-civil war paper was generally better). This is an original issue and includes all of the editorial material (articles, stories, poetry, etc.) with the advertisements and individual covers. Subject matters range from art, fiction, and poetry to history and science. As such it makes a terrific read as a portrait of its moment in time. Seller Inventory # 38502
