Item Description: London / New York: William Collins/ Intervisual, 1983. Hardcover. Book Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Three tiny thick books in a cream coloured slipcase of light card. Slip case is decorated with borders in colour design and has black lettering to the ends. Miniature books have black lettering with colour panels and illustrations to spine. Tiny dot on the bottom of each book. The story retold by Peter Seymour and the colour illustrations by Peter Spier appear on one side of accordion panels and Spier's colour illustrations only on the other side. At the end of the accordion folds is a wonderful 3-D scene. Books are secured with a paper clasp fitting into a slot and have a tiny dot to the bottom. All books have a fresh clean appearance. Overall, a set of 3 paper engineered books in very good condition with no tears or damage. The only defects: the slip case has a small dent to one edge, a very small dent to one corner and a light rubbed area (about 1 x 1 inches) to one side. Otherwise, a charming set. Very nice indeed.
