It is copiously illustrated in monochrome. The spine is olive green cloth (no lettering), and the boards are covered in white paper with black lettering on the front. CONDITION. VG+. A clean tight copy, with slight darkening round the edges of the covers. It has retained its original flimsy plain white paper wrap, now rubbed and creased, and with a repair at the top of the spine. Sturmy died in 1669 in the year after he published this - his only - book, which - based on his contributions to "The Mariner's Magazine" - were of upmost importance to the accuracy of maritime navigation.
