Item Description: Harper & Brothers, 1904. Green Cloth. Book Condition: Very Good. A hard to find edition of Mark Twain's works. The Hillcrest Edition was the second uniform edition of Mark Twain's works named after one of his homes. Spine title: Mark Twain's Works. The complete set, I believe, includes 25 numbered volumes. I have only 18. Hillcrest Edition flyleaf appears in every volume. The "Authorized Uniform Edition" statement appears in all volumes of the Hillcrest Edition on the back of the flyleaf. Each volume has 250-550 pages. The volumes are mostly in very good condition, some are in good to fair condition. Some have wear and tear, worn spine endings, discoloring endpapers or other minor imperfections, former owner's stamp on both endpaers in each volume. The volumes for sale are: V1 - The innocents abroad. V2 - The innocents abroad (Part II). V3 - A tramp abroad. V4 - A tramp abroad (Vol.II). V5 Following the equator. V6 - Following the equator (Vol. II). V7 -Roughing it. V8 -Roughing it (Vol. II). V10 - The Gilded Age. V11 -The Gilded Age (Vol. II). V13 - Adventures of Huckelberry Finn. V14 Pudd'nhead Wilson. V17 - Personal recollections of Joan of Arc. V18 - Personal recollections of Joan of Arc (Vol. II). V20. - Tom Sawyer abroad, Tom Sawyer detective and other stories, Etc., etc. V21 - American Claiment. V22 - Literary essays. V23 - The man that corrupted Hadleyburg. Under certain circumstances I will be willing to sell individual volumes or a group of volumes. Imperfect collector's delight. Bookseller Inventory # 003960
