A Vintage Paperback Original that is an early work of mystery Lawrence Block, of this t.v. tie-in crime novel featuring private detective Roy Markham from the short-lived Eisenhower-era series, "Markham," starring Roy Milland. In this hard-boiled case, some naughty pictures lead Markham into conflict with some rough boys in The Syndicate. 140 pages. Has a bit of edge wear and light creases on covers.

Originally published in the US by Belmont in 1961 also as a paperback original. Browning to the covers with a trace of a price in pencil to the top right corner of the front cover. Browning to the edges of the pages with a quarter-inch dark stain to the top edges. The top edge and fore edge of one page is slightly ragged because of the way it was cut. Browning to the insides of the covers and to the pages which are otherwise clean and unmarked. First printing. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.
