About this Item: Newhouse Galleries,, New York, 1928. Original Wraps. Condition: Very Good. [55] p. 41 ill., including photos of the artists, brothers born in Chicago a year apart. The two artists went to study in Munich in 1921, moving to Paris in 1924. Both worked in a bold expressionist style, with numerous painting excursions to North Africa, frequently exhibiting together. George returned to America in 1929; Martin remained abroad until after the outbreak of the Second World War, eventually settling in Carmel, and later San Francisco.
