Dust Jacket Condition: VG-. 1st ed.. xvbii+369; no obvious internaly faults - clean, tight & unmarked - covers clean and minimally worn but a few small spots of rubbing; unclipped jacket, in protective sleeve as acquired, appears to be generally clean with minimal edge-wear but some rubbing along front edge, slight surface rubbing in places, spine moderately sunfaded with some end-rubbing.Despite slight jacket faults a really excellent copy of this important collection of essays focussed primarily on Holocaust and concentration camp survivors, with a chapter on Hiroshima survivors by Robert Lifton, it also includes 2 very short pieces by the Dutch-born psychiatrist Joost A.M. Meerloo, author of the excellent little 'Total War and the Human Mind' (1944) based on his experiences in occupied Holland.
