Item Description: New York: Brentano's, 1926. Hardcover. Book Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Ex-library copy, but the sole surviving marking reflecting that fact is call letters on the spine. Thick 8vo hardcover is fair to good and in no dj. Black boards with stamped gilt lettering and design. Spine is heavily sunned and has a hole over one of the call numbers, a tear along the front spine edge, and erosion with fraying in the spine head and tail. Wear to the boards is more moderate but includes bumped and rubbed corners. The page's colored top edge is faded and dust stained; the pages' fore and bottom edges are uncut. Missing the brown ffep and other pre-half title page contents. Remaining contents, however are clean and securely bound. Extensively illustrated (57 in color, 108 in b&w), with some color costume plates pasted to a black backing page being absolutely stunning. **Extra shipping charges may apply to expedited and international orders because of the size and thickness of this book.
