As this reprint is from very old book, there could be some missing or flawed pages, but we always try to make the book as complete as possible. Fold-outs, if any, are not part of the book. The Fly-Fisher's Entomology with Directions for Making: Alfred Ronalds.

Item Description: Liverpool, England. Henry Young & Sons. 1913. 4to. (10 ¼ x 8). Two Volumes. Volume One: xxxviii, 103 pp. including index. Volume Two: Title page and 9 thick plates displaying 47 fly patterns dressed to Alfred Ronalds's specifications. Limited Edition. This set is number 199 of 250 sets for sale. Signed by the publisher on the limitation page. Title pages printed in red and black. Eleven hand colored plates of flies, tying instructions, and a river map. Photogravure plates with descriptive tissues and a striking silhouette image of Mr. Ronalds with descriptive tissue. The 47 flies mounted in sunken mounts are all wet flies and are just as effective today as they were in the nineteenth century - the flies are in beautiful condition with the materials fresh and bright. The two volumes bound in the publisher's green morocco spines with gilt titles and artificial flies with rules, and green cloth boards with a gilt fly on the front cover of each volume with gilt rules. Top edges gilt. Some trifle browning to the end papers in volume one, some foxing to a few of the sunken mounts and end papers in volume two, a bit of edge wear to the cloth, otherwise this is a very nice set of the most desirable edition of Mr. Ronalds landmark work. Very good. Bookseller Inventory # 008137
