Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Plates are bright. Binding is firm. Ex-libris sticker to front pastedown. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Small noticeable brown marks to board edges. Clipped jacket. Mild foxing to all surfaces. Heavy edgewear, with visible rips and chipping, and some areas of loss. Heavy ripping to spine.

In very good minus light grey cloth boards, brown and blue design to front and spine, brown titles to spine. The boards are flat and tight, grubby around front edges. The end papers are a little marked; book plate to front with library stamp, crossed out name of previous owner and indented address. Tinted grey top cut edge; the fore and tail edges are lightly tanned. The text block is in very good condition, tight, straight and unmarked. No further library stamps etc. Very good condition. With b/w photos and plans. Not annotated. Without jacket.
