Item Description: Franz Eher Nachfolger, 1933. Hardcover. Book Condition: Very Good. Reprint. One volume edition published in 1933. Bound in black/dark blue cloth. Text German. Interesting inscription in German on ffep which translates as: "My Struggle! Hitler fights for the Reich(?), I fight for the family. To my darling wife and comrade for the past 3 years, August Bauer, Christmas 1933." Also, tucked in was a single, small, square leaf from a "Mein Kampf" calendar with date on one side and quote from book on reverse. Date is 23 April1941. This may be totally random, but may have some significance e.g. date of death of August Bauer? Anyway, some possible research to do. Book has moderate signs of wear with a couple of light marks to boards. Inside, slight fault to top of hinge. Clean, firmly bound. Pictures available on request. Please note this book is banned in some countries. Please do not attempt to purchase if it is banned in your country. Thank you. Bookseller Inventory # 002713

Its slogan was "None shall starve nor freeze". The drive was originally set up under the government of Heinrich Brüning in 1931, though Hitler would later claim sole credit. Item Description: London - Hutchinson & Co., 1939. Hardcover. Book Condition: Very Good. Ascarce set of Adolf Hitler'sMein Kampf translated into English by James Murphy from the unexpurgated version. Not the most pleasant read of course but an important historical document none the less, espcially as here with all the illustrations. Published in eighteen weekly instalments. Illustrated throughout with two hundred full page plates. Mein Kampfwaswritten whist Adolf Hitler (1889-1945) was in prison following his infamous failed Putsch in Munich, 1923. It is an autobiographical account of Hitler's life and views that formed the manifesto for the National Socialist Party, soon to be known as the Nazi Party. Hitler expounds upon the two main points: Lebensraum - the idea that the German people needed more 'living room' to the east -and Antisemetic feeling based on personal grievances that would dictate his future racial laws. James Murphy was an Irish journalist, translator, and polymath living in Berlin who published translated interviews with eminent people, including Albert Einstein. Though the Nazis requested Murphy to publish a fullEnglish version of Mein Kampf they quickly changed their minds and, when he attempted to return to Berlin, he was refused entry. Murphy's wife snuck into Germany and managed to acquire a carbon copy of Mein Kampf via a former secretary, thus securing the availability of an English translation. Complete eighteen volumes, collated complete. Condition: In a paper binding. Externally, sound and agetoned. Edgewear to parts 2, 9, 10, 18. Light chipping to part 1. Light sunning to front to parts 9, 11, 13, 15,16, 17, and 18. Front joint slightly starting but sound to parts 5, 6, 15, 16, and 18. Joints failed, boards loose but present to part 1 and 12. Slight worm damage to parts 16, 17, and 18. Internally, firmly bound. Pagesbright and clean, though agetoned. Overall: VERY GOOD. Bookseller Inventory # 046694

Item Description: Reynal & Hitchcock, New York NY, 1941. 8vo., Twentieth Impression, endpapers lightly browned as often; original red cloth, gilt back, yellow top, a very good, bright, clean copy in unclipped but worn dustwrapper, the latter crudely repaired at joints and frayed with minor loss at edges. This translation, the first complete version in English, was effected by a formidable team of American writers, historians and scholars and first published in 1939. Like Dugdale's UK abridgement it is based on the first German editions of 1925 and 1927, but unlike Dugdale it includes the final text in its totality including, for example, a greatly expanded Chapter V in which Hitler describes his wartime reflections on propaganda and on methods for fighting Marxism. All early printings are scarce, especially in this condition. This title is offered for sale only as an historical document and may not be purchased by residents of those countries (including Austria, France, Germany and Italy) in which it is banned. The work describes the process by which Hitler became antisemitic and outlines his political ideology and future plans for Germany. Volume 1 of Mein Kampf was published in 1925 and Volume 2 in 1926. The book was edited by Hitler's deputy Rudolf Hess. Hitler began Mein Kampf while imprisoned for what he considered to be "political crimes" following his failed Putsch in Munich in November 1923. Although Hitler received many visitors initially, he soon devoted himself entirely to the book. As he continued, Hitler realized that it would have to be a two-volume work, with the first volume scheduled for release in early 1925. The governor of Landsberg noted at the time that "he [Hitler] hopes the book will run into many editions, thus enabling him to fulfill his financial obligations and to defray the expenses incurred at the time of his trial. Item Description: NSDAP, Germany. (Subject: The Third Reich - General) A German gothic text edition of Hitler's notorious book. It is a scarce and collectible volume published in 1940 by the NSDAP in Munich, apparently for distribution to the employees of the Hamburg Electricity Works who were conscripted to go to the front. At the title page it bears the legend "Unseren im felde stehenden arbeits kameraden zur erinnerung an den freiheitskampf 1939/40 gewidmet von aetriebs fuhrung und gefolgschaft der Hamburgischen Electricitats Werke". This approximately translates to "Our standing in the field, work mates commemorating the liberation struggle of 1939-40 devoted to the operation leadership and staff of the Hamburg Electricity works" The volume is bound in stiff red cardboard covers and contains the usual frontispiece portrait of Adolf Hitler which is protected by tissue paper. All text is complete and clean, but there is a small piece torn from the title page to Part II (but this does not intrude into the text). (Published: 1940) (Publisher: NSDAP, Germany) (Pagination: small format, 782pp) (Condition: good in red card covers) UL-XXXXXX. Bookseller Inventory # 31199-07
