At the urging of a Ms. Seaman, Macmillan agreed to bring out a new edition of this very old and very scarce children's book, keeping it the same size and same type but with new illustrations. Now that book is itself old and becoming scarce. The interior is clean but for an occasional finger smudge. Color and black & white illustrations by Brock. A long ago child has colored many of the black & white illustrations, some of them quite nicely. 174 pages and a delightful story it is. Boards have mild shelfwear. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
