Black and white illustrations throughout. Slight cracking to hinges and gutters causing boards and binding to be loose. However, boards and pages throughout remain attached. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight crushing to spine ends.

Original blindstamped green cloth with gilt lettering to front board, rebacked in matching green cloth. 27 cm x 19 cm. Rubbing to extremes, markings to lower section of rear board, contents age browned with random foxing, ink signiture to upper section of front free endpaper.

Large hardback 12"x10". The boards and endpapers are detached, the spine is missing, the boards are worn and a bit grubby. The plain endpaper has an owner's inscription and stamp. There is some edge foxing throughout with the first and last few pages and the plates more extensively affected. Illustrated, folding plates, 190.
