Quarter morocco and decorated cloth; a fine copy in the fine slipcase (with the author and title details inscribed in felt-tipped pen on its closed end). Number 52 of only 300 copies of the 'collectors' edition', with the certificate of limitation numbered and signed by the author. Essentially the history of safaris in East Africa, primarily over 'the fifty years between 1900 and 1950. It is possible for me to use firsthand accounts given to me by some of the people who were actual participants in the events in this exciting period. I was born and brought up in the centre of it all. Then, between 1947 and 1961, I worked as a professional hunter all over eastern Africa' (from the author's introduction).
