DJ has corners of the inside flaps clipped, open tears on the front top and b bottom spine, some wrinkling, chipping and tears on the edges and sides, bottom corner of the back inside flap is chipped, some soiling with stains, discoloration, and shelf wear. Book has wear on the edges, some soiling, foxing on the page edges, discoloration, and shelf wear. The narrative is a succession of truly funny incidents, the dialogue sparkles, and Mrs. Sampson's genius for the amusing delineation of negro characters is delightfully in evidence. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
