Hardcover. Condition: Good. Teal hardcover with gilt lettering to spine and front. Pastedown of woman on front. 150 pages, plus numerous pages of ads in rear. Black and white frontispiece. Title page has red lettering with green ornate decorations. First 70 pages is the storie "Laddie", with the rest of the book titled "Miss Toosey's Mission". First twenty pages laid in book. The rest of the pages are tight. Some soiling to cover and bumps to extremities. Good reading copy.

Front cover has red, black and white illustration of a girl on a horse. Black and white interior illustrations by J. Watson Davis. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with minor fraying at tips. Back cover has a scratch and some wrinkling of the cloth, with light soiling. Some pages have small faint brown shadows where four-leaf clovers were pressed between the pages. One pair of pages has a small darkened rectangle at the top where something of low-quality paper was stored.
