This now scarce regional history of the Dipton district, lying to the north of Invercargill, records it from the earliest days of European settlement to the centennial of that event. A tremendously detailed account of the district's people, places, personalities, civic, community and sporting affairs, industries and agriculture and much more. 207 pages, 16 colour photographs, with dozens in b/w throughout, endpaper maps. bibliographgy, appendices and index. This book is graded a G as it appears to have been lightly singed or smoked. A 3cm strip at the top of the grey covers is lightly browned, with occasional faint traces of smoke at the top of a few pages in the text block, but not intruding to text. The page edges are smoke darkened. The spine base is bumped. Generally the text block is VG+. Bookseller Inventory # 001493
