Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Eastman, P. D. (illustrator). 1st Edition. The first edition, published as a Random House Beginner Book with 195/195 to jacket flap. Eighteen books listed to rear jacket panel - including three books for Beginning Beginners;' Are You My Mother? ' listed as the final title. B - 18 appears to book's spine. A very good copy with a bit of wear to spinal extremities and tips with very good dust jacket with wear at extremities and fingernail sized chip to lower corner of front panel. This copy bears the inscription of P. D Eastman - in August of the year of publication to Marie Happ. Signed copies of Eastman's books are exceedingly uncommon. Inscribed by Author(s).
