This is his dramatic record of the journey, a 1500 mile long journey which provided menu challenges for him and his crew. This is a rich story of intimate encounters with the tigers of the Sunderbas, with Hindu holy men and more. Bound in blue cloth over light brown paper covered boards stamped with Hillary's name in silver, spine lettering silver, endpapers are maps, There is a sticker on the free front endpaper with title, author and publication price. In an unclipped pictorial dust jacket lettered in black and white, spine white with lettering in black. A very nice clean copy with no names or bookplates.
